COWGIRL IS A TEXAS-STYLED BAR AND RESTAURANT

that opened in 1989 in the West Village, New York. Cowgirl is about celebrating the Wild West in a neighborhood that was fundamental for gay rights. 

The restaurant continues 35 years strong but struggles to maintain a linkage with its past and the ever-evolving West Village. The fusion of Texas culture mixed with the gay scene of the late 80s and 90s is what makes Cowgirl iconic. Our goal is to help Cowgirl better combine these sentiments through packaging and visual branding.
